The Story

Roberto Voerzio Barolo Torriglione 2013 Magnum is a highly sought-after single-cru expression from La Morra, sourced from the Torriglione parcel just below Rocche dell’Annunziata. With its slightly more compact clay soils, this site produces wines with added structure while retaining the perfume and finesse typical of the area. The excellent 2013 vintage further enhances its balance and ageing potential.

The nose is intense and aromatic, offering layers of red cherry, plum and rose petal alongside hints of spice, earth and subtle balsamic complexity. On the palate, it is concentrated yet refined, with finely textured tannins, vibrant acidity and a core of pure, expressive fruit.

The magnum format allows for slower evolution, giving the wine greater depth and longevity over time. Long, poised and beautifully structured, this is a Barolo of both elegance and power, ideal with truffle dishes, braised meats, game and classic Piedmontese cuisine.
